FRI

The Fellow of the Real Estate Institute, FRI, designation is a mark of excellence earned by a very few; the top real estate professionals who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the highest standards of education, experience and ethical conduct in the real estate industry. Leila was awarded the FRI designation by the Real Estate Institute of Canada on December 7, 1999.

ABR

Having successfully completed the designated curriculum and having satisfied the practical experience requirements Leila was awarded the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation from the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors in 1998.

	There are many different institutions who lend money e.g. banks, trust companies, credit unions and both insurance and financial companies. There are many options so shop around and/or use a Mortgage Broker, who will do the shopping for you.

Home/Building Inspectors
	Your inspector will give you a better understanding of the property condition as observed at the time of the inspection. He will also give you a written report and detail any necessary repairs, including estimated cost of repairs and priority of repair.

The Realtor

The Lawyer

He will peruse the Agreement of Purchase and sale, he will deal directly with the mortgage company and contact the municipal tax office, he will prepare the deed, he will review with you the statement of adjustments, he will arrange to transfer the deed and the house keys to the Buyer's lawyer in return for the agreed sum of money and finally he will disburse the funds.

Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a young swan yearning for freedom and adventure. She left home and after many travails settled in Bedford Basin. The winters were hard, the summers warm. She had many friends both human and fowl. Her many admirers named her Snowball. As she grew older she became more and more lonely for her own kind.

One starry night in August of 1995, she heard a call and went to investigate. The next morning the neighbourhood was abuzz. Prince Siegfried had arrived. From that day on, Snowball and her prince, AKA Ziggy were inseparable.
	A few years later, they decided to start a family. Then came the day that tragedy struck. Ziggy died. He left Snowball to raise their 6 cygnets. All the people were sad.

Snowball and Junior are well. They love to watch the people. Every day they make their planned outings checking on their favourite humans, and meals. Often, Snowball chases the seagulls and occasionally Junior gets annoyed with the ducks if they disturb his dinner.
